Cranberry- Bergman

A hardy, evergreen ground cover having pale pink-white flowers in spring followed by the edible red fruit in autumn. Harvest fruit when they are red in colour with a sweet flavour. Sweetness improves when berries are left on the plant until the first early frosts. Best grown in partial shade where soils are moist and free-draining. A mid-season variety that are self-fertile.
