Raspberry- Ebony

Ebony has small firm clusters of dark black berries with an excellent flavour. They are surrounded by rose-like leaves. Small white flowers bloom, followed by sweet, darkly coloured fruit. A very vigorous and productive plant, it has 1m-2m high cascading purple/black canes with no spines, requiring attaching to wires or fence for support as they can become quite heavy. Harvesting from December to February, the berries are easily removed when ripe.
