Leonotis leonurus (Lion's Tail)

Robust, evergreen shrub highly valued for spectacular displays of bloom through summer and autumn. Dense clusters of brilliant orange, tubular flowers covered in fine, fur-like hairs. Grows approximately 2m high x 1.5m wide.

Prefers a position in full sun or light shade. Tolerates most soil conditions as long as they are well drained. Drought tolerant but performs best with regular watering. Frost hardy. Suitable for coastal conditions. Responds well to pruning to keep the plant dense and compact.
